How We Got Here
The SparkNotes version:
You live & you die. On my 5th deployment I decided I didn't want to spend the rest of my life preparing for war. I left active duty, mainly to have a simple life and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Shortly after, my religious views crashed as doctrines & un-reflected explanations of right
& wrong failed to match experience & logic. I went to seminary to investigate deeper, wound up in a Philosophy of Religion PhD program, & found beauty, hope, & magic in everything I once feared.

Engaging The Big Questions
Four panelist of contrasting backgrounds come together to share unique & personal perspectives to life's complex philosophical question. Questions like: "Who am I?" "What is God?" "What is right & wrong?" are engaged here. Each panelist talks for 20 minutes, acoustic jams make for a pleasant intermission, and a Q&A will top off the night. This is not a debate styled panel, its a place to indulge yourself in the gift of perceptions outside of your own.
